In order to better help us know your current level of Spanish, and so we can begin preparing your materials, please read the following story about Cuenca and answer the following questions, using all the Spanish tenses you know.
CUENCA, ECUADOR
Cuenca es una ciudad designada por la UNESCO como “Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad.”
Está al sur de Ecuador y viven aproximadamente 400.000 habitantes. Hay muchas cosas para hacer allí: visitar museos, conocer iglesias, comer bien, disfrutar de los mercados tradicionales, salir a divertirse y hacer buenos amigos.
Cuenca es una ciudad especial porque el día empieza a las 9:00 a.m. con las actividades de trabajo y estudio; uno de los lugares más visitados es el Parque Calderón, además tenemos la Catedral y el Mercado de Flores.
A los turistas les gusta Cuenca por su arquitectura única y diferente al resto del país, además por la seguridad que existe en la ciudad.
La gente de Cuenca se llaman “Cuencanos” y se divierten mucho los fines de semana.
